Im not a great music freak but I do like a song done well.

Some covers come out better than the original. Some don't.

Or

There's no doubt for me.. ones fantastic, the other isn't.
Then comes Beatrice

To kill off the parts Bananarama missed.

The Jam did a great cover of Heatwave by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas as the closing track on Setting Sons. I thought it was the outstanding track on the album, only later discovering it wasn’t a Weller original:

I'm not really a music guru and haven't been for years but for some reasson hearing this remix made an impression and is something I prefer to the original

yeah a good voice, although she can't quite hit that note though.
Im not music buff but I think that's as good as Dolly. All be it in a different way.
Loved the simplicity of the band.

Miles is a spit for my Neice.

I don't think the Lady Parton's original can be beat but i enjoy Miley's sessions that seem far removed from her popstar image. Lady Gaga has a similar shift when she sings the Blues or a jazz number.

Love Dolly. Never thought much about Mileys music yet this is a great cover.

As a Bowie fan, I love the Nirvana, Bowie and Lulu versions of the Man Who Sold the World. He played the sax and did backing vocals on the Lulu version.
