Hi,

I have a Myson Compact CP53 pump that needs replacing on my central heating system.

I have been looking a various models on the internet and was wondering what is a suitable replacement?

The Myson has a 1½" BSP fitting and apparently has a 5m head. It is for a 2 bed bungalow, but I don't know if this makes any difference in the model that needs to be chosen.

Any help on this would be great. :D

Thanks,

Chris

Would you or would you pay that little bit extra for the alpha?, I did in my house and now I can even have the heating on during the night without waking everyone up.....fantastic bit of kit.

My suggestion is to buy a new CP53 if it really needs replacing.
then if you wanted to do an easy job you could just replace the head.

They are branded Circulating Pumps now.
