Don't worry Jeff - by the time it comes to sock renewal week that muppet will have either been banned or chosen another lemon product to support. Surprised he hasn't post back about the Magic thermo box thingamajig being the second coming 
The product is excellent. Very quiet. Ten years ago no one would touch an Ideal with a bargepole. Now many are lauding them.
Explain how you know this.

Ten years ago a few people fitted Ferroli boilers.
Now virtually none of them are still in place and working.
Maybe that is why they are quiet.
