I agree with Kevs quote, just need a third person to agree now and you're sorted. Tell your solicitor you'd like to reduce the offer on the house by that amount

If you had read the rules ( in particular rule 9) then you would not have left your self open. The others have read the rules.

Let us all make the new poster welcome and stop taking the michael, every one knows its £4,000 ;)

You have not explained if the house already has a heating system. Saying it needs a "new" heating system implies that it already has one.

If thats so then perhaps it just needs a new boiler at £1500 or new boiler and rads at £2500 or a full system for the first time at £3500.

All these figures are pretty small compared with the difference between most asking prices and offer prices! A house on the market for £395k is likely to get offers around £380k. The difference would buy 10 heating systems!

I should have explained better sorry

It has an old back boiler system, we would want this updating, some of the rad's in there are newish, so only some would require changing and we would like some of the pipe work moved. :)
