I currently have an old back boiler (glow worm i think) that i want to swap out for a HE combi. I need a few recommendations, i am currently looking at spending £650 and the ferrolli Optimax is looking good.

What else should i look at and why?

£650

A changeover such as this will cost at leats £2200 + VAT all in

That says it all then

Anyone, you included can google to find alternative prices, no need to ask on here. The company you quote is who I sold my internet business to earlier this year.

Not to be cheeky but its similar priced boilers i am looking for opinions on and not a Ferroli Optimax at a similar price to the one quoted.

:D

I was being shown a no frills band A Ariston last week at about £500 !

In spite of the eight free pens and four keyring spiritual levels, I would probably still prefer the Biasi Band B as I know they are so reliable.

I dont see the Ferolli boilers as having anything special about them.

But I did not know that Gas4U was no longer selling Vaillant boilers. Thats helps to explain his recent apparent decision to stop installing Vaillant boilers in favour of some unknown boiler from mars called Elite.

If a Ferroli is 'looking good', go and buy one.

The finest Italian engineering and a five year warranty.

And an impeccable pedigree.

I hope your being sarcastic simond? Ferroli are fit only for scrap.
