can anyone please help...i am just in the middle of having my kitchen gutted and want to put up a new ceiling light once the fitters have finished...ive seen the one i want and it has 3 adjustable spotlights...are these easy enough to do as i dont want the shall i say traditional ceiling light(single bulb on a wire) as i think they look tacky.
Would i have any wiring problems with replacing this?

You need to check the lighting circuit has a cpc (earth), if not you will be limited to a class 2 fitting. Thats one thats double insulated.

Hopefully the electrician is coming today to do a wiring upgrade to the kitchen so i'll have a word with him if its suitable to install one..many thanks for the advice
