Hi,

I am hoping to have a new kitchen fitted in a couple of months but wonder if anyone can offer any advice.

Is it as simple as measuring the kitchen area and taking this information to a retailer. They will then design the kitchen around the figures using computer aided design packages? I have never had a new kitchen before but want to have it done professionally as I'm selling up next year.

Any advice on how to get the ball rolling would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Russell.

going to one of the larger kitchen suppliers is a good idea. get them to plan the kitchen and give a free quote, wether you use them or not. at least you will see the potential the kitchen could have. one thing though, insist they ( if you decide to have one) vent the cooker extractor to an outside wall and not one of those charcoal filters. it may save you a headache in the future.

literally, or figuratively ;)
