New mira flight trap

Had a few recently where it’s spilling over. I’ve swapped the trap over and it’s been ok. Used the non working trap in another waste and it’s worked. This is on newbuild so it’s virtually every week I’m having to do this. Before the ‘it’s newbuild so the wastes will be bodged blah blah’, it isn’t

Products like oilatum block wastes. It's for skin problems.

These are brand new never used traps. Found out when testing.

Have you seen the comments regarding quality control?
Like this although not your problem but could the tray be causing trap not to be level?

that’s the old traps, they’ve changed them now. Very rarely have any problems sealing them. The new ones you can take the trap out of the housing. The odd thing is if I swap the trap from another shower and put the problem one in the other shower it works. And if I take the bottle of the trap out it also works but obviously you’ll get smells. I’ll ring mira to see if they’ve had any issues but usually these manufacturers don’t like to admit anything (as per that video) Cheers.
