New shower not getting hot

A mixer shower isn't always the answer though unfortunately
Unfortunately the bathroom is tiled now so mixer is out question. Maybe when this breaks I will change to mixer . I do have mixer in some of my properties and have had problems with them and have had electric in some houses for 7 years without problem. TBH the one of the reasons I picked electric for this is because if the boiler ever breaks this particular tenant doesnt think you have a day to fix it .
How long do they allow you when the shower breaks?
Alot longer as they would still have hot water. With the mixer shower off the boiler if the boiler breaks this goes down as well as the bath as there is no hot water . Having a ekectric shower at least leaves hot water for a wash.
