nissan micra wont start 52 plate

Tried to start this morning but nothing happend .

it kept turning over but would not fire up .

Im going to have a look at it in a bit , and suggestions where / what to check first

It was petrol in and it turns over ( so batt not flat )

Lug holes open...can you hear the buzz of the fuel pump when you turn the ignition on? It should buzz for 3 sec then shut up.
If not, lift clear the relay cover, to the left of the battery that runs north south....give the relay thats second from the screen end a wee tap and see what happens.
