Baxi back boiler.central heating okay...have replaced clock programmer.have replaced thermostat on water tank.checked pump okay via central heating.checked burner okay via central heating.switch hot water on at programmer, red light comes on as normal.that is as far as it gets.have had no previous problems with it in the past...Could it be the electronic valve near the tank or could it be something electronic inside the fire perhaps...Thankyou in advance for any help.....all ancillaries are honeywell..

its a valve on the water pipe heading into the hot tank..looks rectangular..attached to pipe electric cable coming out of it..

could be loose wire in clock .is boiler fireing at all when cylinder is cold.

cant under stand why you have pipe stat. you say you changed stat on cyl. do you mean the stat on the immersion or is there one strapped to side of cyl about quarter of the way up.

possibly loose wire. you seem to have changed a lot of electrical components.check all wireing.

I think that it might be a 2-port valve but it may look as if its just a box strapped to the pipe, what has the box got written on it?
