Sky+ has been with us for some time, and Sky-HD is coming out now.

Wondering why the cable companies haven't done anything to bring out their own products, I looked it up.

Apparently ntl are bringing out this, and Telewest are bringing out something very similar not long after. HDTV and PVR (Sky+) functionality, with 3 tuners. Yup, THREE tuners. Record two things whilst watching a third. That should help solve the arguments for any parents here!

I've had experience of NTL and their policy of giving you a package and then start taking away channels one by one until you are left with very little but the price stays the same!
