As I stated earlier I would make use of the specilized tools (ie threading machine) and make the necessary nipples with this .

Threading a piece of pipe is not exactly rocket science.
If the correct tooling was not available on site for the threading machine then I would just take it home and turn the threads off in my colchester lathe.

Since you brought up the subject of pipefitters, I gave you the test above, so far all we have from you is ballski.

Yes you can use the threading machine, but the shortest length you can thread is 120mm, so how can you cut a nipple with 2 threads 42mm long.

Have a guess or are you still waiting for an answer from another forum
