Hello,
I have a quantity of solid oak floor (20mm T&G) and am planning to install it in an upstairs bathroom fixing it directly to the joists. What would be the best treatment to use, considering the potential for it to get wet !
I have oak floor in other parts of the house and used Osmo Polyx oil and been very pleased with the result, but is this suitable for a bathroom ? What would be the long term effects on such a floor in a bathroom even with the correct treatment?
Or should I just forget about using wood and use stone tiles on marine ply
Thanks in advance of advice.
