May be a replacement switchwire but it's a bit gash!

Hmmm... didn't think of that. I wonder if ENWL have a borrowed neutral warden.

They could come out and capture the little blighter, stick it in a cage (a Faraday cage, of course...) and take it back to their depot.

That will be the Neutral for the outside light! And as you know, its a live conductor and should have an outer insulated layer (cable jacket)
