OFCH fuel line/filter refit.

My landlord, being the way he is, is useless at fixing things so i have to DIY.

Filter and connecting piping is leaking around filter and/or filter itself.
I have ordered a new filter enclosure with 3/8 fittings.

My question: how does one leakproof fittings on oil line ? Can i use plumbers pvc tape to do that ir is there anything specific to oil lines ?

PTFE and Heldite or Oilseal paste.
There is another way to get your Landlord to sort out the problem STOP PAYING THE RENT UNTILL IT IS SORTED!!
