Looking to replace a casement window in my kitchen that would've been a sash (and still is in neighbouring properties).

However, to get a bespoke window to fit exactly is very expensive - wondering if there are any 'stock' sizes?

i suspect the lack off response is due to the lack off individual components being available

indeed you would need several hundred different sizes to cover any amount off the sliding sashes out there and no ones going to do that

unfortunatly you know the answer as your web searches have told you your choices

get yourself down to night school pay your fees get friendly with the instructor

pay for the wood then he can give the windows to people as part off there program as they need to make a full window

other options are available but that depends on the tutor and a crate off beer lol

go to an open evening and ask the tutor discreetly ;)
