He was going on American intelligence reports so, at best, he misled the House.

Unlike the Blowfish who had all the facts at hand and deliberately contrived to avoid revealing them so he wasn't subject to scrutiny by the Met.
He lied.

Mottie is trying to distract attention from our lying, dishonest, untrustworthy, rule-making and rule-breaking Prime Minister Johnson.

his diversions are worthless

Labour reminded would be a better title - for something that was dismissed at the time as there is no |Tory mileage in it.

LOL The police investigated it and found no offence so some one is moaning about that now. Anything to get it into the news again.

It wasn’t a party
It complied with the rules.

Labour we’re there to campaign, it was the day before a local election, perhaps Mottie would like to explain how they think the people working in that office that day were meant to get lunch - restaurants were shut, a takeaway was the only option.

This is just Conservatives desperately trying to drag everybody down to their level.
poor old Mottie is desperately trying to support the liars he voted for.

Durham police were asked to reinvestigate but refused, it's now widely believed that Joy Allen, the Durham Police and Crime Commisioner was also at the party.

Durham Police have suggested it was considered a 'local election event' rather than a business meeting.

The law at the time covered 'local election events' and stated campaigners could only go indoors 'to meet the committee room organiser in order to collect election literature or drop off telling slips', 'it is against the law to meet socially indoors with anyone not in your household or support bubble'.

Richard Holden, Tory MP for North West Durham wrote to Durham Police last weekend demanding they reopen the case against Starmer, on Tuesday night Holden was attacked in the Strangers Bar by a very drunk Mary Foy, Labour MP for Durham. Foy grabbed Holden by the arm and threw so much drunken abuse at him she had to be pulled away by staffers.

Holden threatened to take the matter to the Speaker unless she apologised the following morning. On Wednesday morning Holden found “I unreservedly apologise for my behaviour on the terrace last night” in his inbox.

Desperate Tories:

Have you been to a party, Angela?
No.
Ah ha! We just spotted you eating at lunchtime while on a work trip! Liar!

Pretty sure she didn't sneak out to the coop too fill a suitcase with wine so they could all get wasted. Really is another case of ....
