I hate bully's. Maybe Harry could have chosen his words better. That's to late now but his words do not make him a bully.

How so? If someone burst into any of your private dining rooms, how would you react. It was a private do. The guy managed quite well to hold back his obvious temper, in dealing with her. He just grabbed her and escorted her out.

Exactly, this is about who HE was and an 'innocent defenseless woman'. How much decorum and restraint does one need to show before the right to react no matter who you are applies.
The press feed off this sh't, the opposition feed them, and Greenpeace get some publicity.

In stating I hate bully's. I'm not saying Fielding is a bully and fair doos he did what he had to do. But I've met people with that pompous look and I don't like them. I don't know much about him just think he's a bit of a Tit.

He's a hands on type of guy. Cretin.

Again, another example of the wrong doers having more rights and sympathies than the law abiding citizen. What has this country come to??? Where are we going.
So saddening.

The correct answer is 'with as much force as necessary'...
Looks like I would end up in court then.

I am firmly of the belief that anyone not invited into my house is there for nefarious purposes and therefore is unlikely to leave without a fight, especially if it is one they think they can win. Further, it can be reasonably assumed that whoever that person is would not hesitate to threaten or commit harm to my family members.

Do you mean intruders should not be ejected?

What is the fuss about, then?

Why?

Digging yourself deeper into a hole?

Another straw man argument - re intruders. We can carry this on all day.

The lady was trying to hand a leaflet to Hammond - security was closing in on her- that's why she was alone and had broken away trying to find another way to the front. Field should have let security sort it out. If it was a male he would have stayed seated.

Let the security sort it out - that's their job and they were doing it, Field displayed he lacks control.

Field should be ashamed of himself but that's as far as it should go, the lady isn't pressing charges and doesn't need to.

She mightve been a ninja matrial arts expert.

In which she couldve got him in a hold and thrown him over her shoulder.

I wouldve paid good money to see that :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

No. Disagreeing with your opinion.

Another straw man argument - re intruders. We can carry this on all day.
These days it seems more like a straw man excuse in the absence of valid argument.

The lady was trying to hand a leaflet to Hammond - security was closing in on her- that's why she was alone and had broken away trying to find another way to the front. Field should have let security sort it out.
So, she was doing wrong. Security might have been too late.

If it was a male he would have stayed seated.
You don't know that?

How I hate this police-speak - a male what?. Male is an adjective.

Let the security sort it out - that's their job and they were doing it,
As said, they might have been too late.

Field displayed he lacks control.
Says you.

Field should be ashamed of himself but that's as far as it should go, the lady isn't pressing charges and doesn't need to.
So, no wrong doing on Field's part, then.

You discover someone in your house.

You challenge them, they come at you and you pick up a kitchen knife and stab them...

or

You challenge them, they race for an exit and you pick up a kitchen knife and stab them...

Spot the difference?

Was she heading for the Exit?

But what exactly did you mean by "I would have been much rougher with her"?
