OIL BASED GLOSS PAINTED ONTO WATERBASED UNDERCOAT

Hi All we undercoated all our woodwork in bedroom with a quick drying
undercoat water based and have made a mistake and now glosed it with a oil based gloss (well know diy make gloss ) its been 24 hours and its still tacky to touch will it ever dry what do we do next apaprt from waiting helppppppppppppppppp

There is no problem with putting oil based over water based. The gloss must be thoroughly stirred though prior to use. Some of them can be a little oily and this will slow the drying down. Good ventilation or heat will help. Might be better to use a decent make of Gloss like Dulux, Crown etc.
 
It sounds like you've applied it too thick.
