Oil radiator down

Why would it be cheaper to run? All electric heaters are 100% efficient.

Because, it would be a 20th of the power consumption, at 100w, versus the 2Kw (or what ever), but heating you more directly, than an oil filled radiator. I'm not convinced a blanket, is the best method, an electrically heat pad might be safer.

An electric blanket, is a very much more efficient method of getting into a warm bed, compared to warming the entire bedroom.

I warm up through radiator and jump into bed. It's the same thing, and I don't need special preparation because I am usually at the computer + radiator before bed. The radiator warms me and my chair. It also warms my ears. If that isn't direct heating, I don't know what is.

100w gives you less heat than the 500w I have. You pay less for being colder.

It depends on what, the lesser heat, has to warm up.

Higher capacity is better because you can turn it down. Whereas maxing out on low power leaves you fewer options. I find the little radiator quite handy. It's small enough to not get in the way, and it produces enough heat majority of the time. With the wear parts being cheap and standard, the unit could last forever.
