Old fuse board with fuse wire...

I have three fuse boards in the new abode, one of which has fuses with fuse wire in them. Is there any reason particularly to get it changed to a modern one, and if so, why?

Not unless you want to protect the circuits with RCDs.

The fuse board in question is fed from another, rcd-protected, consumer unit. So, is that sufficient?

Where is the supply cable connected?

Supply or load side of RCD or main switch.

The only reason for swap would be if it was unsafe or if you altered, extended, installed circuits to the board that meant they would require an upgrade of protective devices!

It is one its own mcb (32A) from the RCD side of the main CU

So that would bring to question the protective rating of the unit and the load rating of it, and what load is on the unit.
