OMG My Big Disciplinary Tomorrow

I said it was because we didnt want them to know that he had been drinking and thought it was best to just swap ourselves over as I was able to do the call out and he wasnt fit to do it.

hopefully you emphasised the impossible situation you were put in.
they knew. Our gaffer sent them an email stating that we are two exemplary workers, the head of technical services sent an email stating we are valuable members of the team

is this written down?

I'm struggling with why your mate was not "suddenly unwell" following possible "food poising"? or was he so ****ed he would have finished the call with "I really love you".

our duty manager would have sussed him out straight away, he knows us too well. He sounded pizzed when he rang me.

Does he live with a wife or girlfriend. If so, could she have rung and said he was too poorly to come to the phone. Maybe next time!
we are not allowed anyone ringing in for us unless you are so seriously ill and hospitalised, its one of our rules
