So now we are at the stage that beliefs and feelings matter more than facts.

When our politicians brazenly lie and gaslight knowing full well there is little or no consequence is there any surprise that people will just rally round whatever cause they want to associate themselves with and damn the facts.

Facts are not important anymore in todays dialogue.

Social Media has exacerbated this by creating echo chambers where people go to find likewise opinions and to confirm their already held bias.

Not sure how we will get out of this mess.
