First post on here, so apologies if this has been asked before.
I've been trying to follow advice gathered on here about painting 2 previously woodstained internal 6 panel solid doors - and they're now white!
However I've been using a roller and I'm not too pleased with the orange peel effect finish achieved after 4 coats. If I sand down again should I use a brush or have I been using the wrong roller (small rad type). I suppose my question is can you get a good flat finish using a roller and if so what type of roller?
Any other hints/tips because I've done 2 doors and got another 6 to do.
Thanks for any advice

Sand well back before you start.

Thin your paint down 5%.

Apply with a roller.

Then take a good quality brush (synthetic is good for this ) and very lightly run the brush over as light as you can. Then leave it. Don't fiddle with it.

Do the whole thing very quickly for best results.

Thanks very much Joe for the helpful and clear advice - glad to hear I can still go with the roller. :D
