Firstly this stuff is fantastic! I've put down osmo polyx oil on my sanded pine floorboards. easy to do & it looks great.
Anyway, question is how long should I leave it before using the room (bedroom) returning furniture etc. I want to decorate, including sanding walls etc and don't want to get bits stuck in the oil and make a mess of the nice finish. Walking on the floor sounds a little 'tacky' with trainers on although it feels fine. (I finished the job 3 days ago, I didn't put it on too thick I don't think, applied with a paint pad, spreading in, no film sitting on top or anything like that.)
What should I expect from it?
Also (for the future) if I want to touch up bits can I just apply a little extra oil to local ares. Should i thin it down with white spirit if doing this? and can I wash with a little water or do i really need to use their special washing stuff for cleaning?
