out door light

Bought an out door light, would like to know what is the right flex to use, 60 watt lamp, about 5 inches will be seen outside then it goes thought door frame in to socket via 3 pin plug. I have loads of gray twin and earth 1.5 but wanted to use black 3 core if that would be allowed.
any help would be most help full.

flex will be fine for what you want to do as long as the flex isn't anywhere it can be damaged..

What fuse will be in the plug?

wire through doorframe
bits of leftover wire used to create lashup
