Good evening all,

I'm looking into constructing an outbuilding at the back of my garden and wanted to know if it fits into permitted development.

It will be single storey, used as a summer house - somewhere to relax during bbq's etc. There will be no plumbing involved and no drainage.

The garden is 24meters in length along 1 side and 22meters long the other. it is 7.5meters wide. As one side is longer than the other, I want the front of the summer house to run pparallel to the back of the house and to get rid of the triangular shape at the back of the garden.

But this then means that the outbuilding will be 4 meters along one side, 6 meters along the other side and 7.5meters along the front and back. Is there a limit as to the size of outbuildings and would this outbuilding fall within permitted development rules?

Many thanks.[/b]
