Outside Lighting Switch

I am moving the switch for an outside light from a cupboard to an inside wall near the back door.

The light is currently switched through a fused double pole switch.

Do i need to use a fused double pole switch or a double pole switch or would a single pole switch wired through a junction box be ok for outside lighting?

That depends on how the original switch has been fed, from what circuit, etc...

The switch is fed directly off the 6A mcb in the cu.

I would use single pole switch join neutrals in connector inside no need for it to be fused
