Outside sockets

Good morning,

I have an outsidet socket which is spurred off the house ring main through a 13amp FCU and the house ring is protected by an RCD in the consumer unit.

Question: Should I replace the FCU with an RCD, or is the RCD in the consumer unit adequate protection?

It's fine as it is - adding a second RCD would actually contavene the regs, as you then have no descrimination between devices.
