Overcoating artex on the ceiling

Wife wants the artex covering up in lounge 6m x 3.5m and bathroom 4m x 3 m and small bathroom ceiling, artex is not too deep but we want to keep coving so we cant overboard. what needs doing to plaster over artex ceilings if possible and how much time will a professional plasterer take for each room please. estimated cost as well would be appreciated
