Paint bubbling on door frame

I have a problem where paint is bubbling on the inside of an interior door frame. The cause of it is because I used a heat gun to remove paint on the inside of the door so some heat has gone through the gap in the door causing the paint on the door frame to bubble.

I don't have a paint scraper tool so wanted to ask, is it necessary to use a paint scraper tool to remove it or would high grit sandpaper be sufficient?

You may be able to use a blunt knife or a spatula or something to break the blister off.
