Painting ceiling

Any suggestions and advice for painting the ceiling in attached picture. It’s old property, ceiling is not cement wall but has a plasterboard feel and sound to it when you knock it.

I managed to remove wallpaper on it, you can see now it’s bare

I don't know what quality of finish you want. For a better finish, consider lining the ceiling first. If it is a rental property and you aren't overly concerned then you can roll a high textured/stippled finish.
