Painting paving slabs

Hi all,

Just been typing my query into google and this site came up as a possible answer. I have a concrete patio which I have just cleaned with a pressure washer. Although it looks a lot better it does still look pretty old and weathered but i'm worried about the cost of buying a whole load of new slabs.

Is it possible to paint concrete paving slabs and if so what would I use? Will the finish last?

its possible to paint them with floor paint, but the colours are limited and garish, as they are designed for factory floors etc. Also wont last to long, and will look a whole lot worse than weathered slabs
