Panel mounting board advice

I'm currently installing a Texecom Premier Elite 48 with 7Ah battery and am considering mounting the panel plus expanders on some sort of board for a neat installation. I'd appreciate advice on the type and depth of board, plus appropriate screws to use to attach the panel to the board.
