Perfectfit blind issue

My brother has just moved into a house that has perfectfit blinds throughout. Unfortunately the fitting on the bifold doors means it is obstructing the opening lever and the doors can’t easily be opened. Anyone know of a way round this?

3 year old. Previous owners had the blinds installed.

Someone who knows what they're doing, not necessarily a locksmith needs to remove the lever and see if there is a potential to space it out with a washer or something, it probably only needs 2-3 mm. It might not be possible but worth a look. Only other alternative I can thing of is to remove the lever and grind some off the offending area.

Yeah I wondered if bringing it off the door a little might be possible. Only 2 screws to remove to find out. I hadn’t thought of refashioning the lever.
