Hi there. Would really welcome some advice.

I have a Pramac generator and about 1 week ago it started running poorly. Checked the air filter which was dirty so replaced it. The same thing has started happening and the sponge on the new air filter is all ready filthy. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Many thanks

I'm no expert, but I reckon a dirty air filter could be caused by, erm, dirty air?

Is the filter sucking in the generators own exhaust fumes, or is it being used in a dusty location?

These use the Honda G series engines, don't they?
Make sure the oil level is exactly correct, and use the machine on a level surface only.
