Argentinian steak is amongst the best.
Australian steak is good. But never understood how or why.
Not always but I see cows in fields full of dust.
Maybe it was because they would walk them miles to find green pasture.
I read somewhere that while a lot of cattle are grass fed. in the drier areas they feed them on grain and 'supplements', be interesting to know what the difference to the quality of the meat would be.

If it is blended, why not? You said you have tried everything due to it been your hobby, evidently you need to Think on....You don't eat the bone!

Lidl have grass fed steaks, I have had them a vew times but I dont think they are very tasty, I have also had ex milking cows and again not as tasty.They always say that grain fed beef has a richer flavour. I don't know what that means in practice. Maybe more marbling.

That'll be the cow in them..Morrisons are doing Australian steak at the moment as well. It does have a more "beefy" taste
