I grew up with a piano no one really played anymore, just collecting dust in the living room. My parents finally decided to get rid of it when nobody had time or space for it, and honestly, finding someone willing to move it was harder than I thought. Those things are so heavy and awkward, and even trying to give it away was a pain.

When we finally got it hauled out, we had professionals do it just to avoid damaging the floors or our backs. There's a bunch of services now like 1day junk that take care of this exact problem if you want to avoid all that hassle yourself.
