Industryspark how do you get 110V out of 3 phase and can you get bigger than 415V 3 phase

With a 415-110v transformer, either single phase connected across two of the phases or 3 phase. You can get bigger than 415v 3phase, we use 3.3kv 3phase which I am not allowed to work on myself. The national grid is 3phase 50hz. I can't imagine why you would want more phases than 3 phase.

Adam what is in a substation do electricians go in substations

I can't forsee any reason why a domestic electrician would go anywhere near a DNO substation, nor should they interfere with anything pre electric meter in a premises unless in an absolute emergency. In most industries the companies electricians do not touch anything belonging to the DNO, the difference in some industries where they have their own 3.3kv - 415v subs and switchrooms where their own sparks look after them.

Why sorry? Whats the score, are you still at school, just enquiring etc?
