Its daylight outside & the switch is on...
Yea but Im not a sparky, is it the location?

the car isnt parked in a parking bay correctly? :D

I would say the window frame is still an integral part of the building structure so that should be all right? with respect to not fitting sockets to kitchen cupboards etc?

Is that switch OUTSIDE by any chance? If not the windows are lovely and clean.

Is there any chance they have used a rocker switch for a lamp? I.e. not the correct rating??

Come on let us know

Is it a 5A switch powering a bunch of 500W floodlights, one of which appears to be on the corner of the roof of what appears (from the sunlight and shadows) to be a conservatory?

The underground cable going to that outbuilding is not of sufficient current carrying capacity to power the hot tub the customer uses for his swinger’s parties.

The switch is on a window frame, that could open, but now it can't due to the trunking, switch and cable.

Following up on Chris5, the same idea but, that RH side just looks to be frame to me where as the LH side is possibly a door? the hinge side, and this may make it awkward to access, not a fault thou

Well I think lectrician has been doing a PIR at a caravan/holiday park & this is a non IP rated switch located on an external wood pier holding the corner of a chalet roof.
