One of Funniest stories i heard about bending was lad who had been in job for a while was given a straight bit of pipe and told to put a ninety in it after F ing about for 10 mins he then asked what way do you want it to face.
Had a yts with me once, he cut a piece of 15mm copper a bit short so i told him to put it outside in the sun to see if it would expand to the right length, when he went to the stores i changed it for a piece a bit longer then asked him to go get it, his face was a picture when he came back. Next day i caught him laying out about ten bits in the sun.
