I’m slowly working my way though my kitchen and am considering a future fridge/freezer with a water dispenser so would like to install pipework should we choose to have one.
What would normally be expected for connection? Would a 10mm JG speedfit with an angle and stop connected to the cold water feed be sufficient or is there something more specific required?

Double check valve and a 3/4" washing machine valve.

That’s the termination, so a 10mm pipe would suffice?
    Thanks.

Leave a loop of the supply pipe behind the F/F - enough to pull the appliance out. Similar to a gas hose behind a cooker.

The one we had came with a long flexible pipe - On the appliance - no need for 10mm speedfit flapping about(y)

Yup, it will probably come with a filter, that will be fitted to the wall behind the FF or on the back of it, and a small 5mm plastic pipe will run from that to an adapter that will fit on a 3/4" appliance valve. Some also come with a separate valve. A 10mm supply pipe will be fine but you'll need to use a reducer to fit an appliance valve to that. Easier just doing it in 15mm IMO.
