Ok, I've put underfloor heating and a new carpet in the bedroom. The door that I took off, is now too long to go back on again (because the floor has been raised by an inch or so). In order to put the door back so there is a small gap between the door and the new carpet (I dont want it to rub each time the door is opened or closed) should I try and saw a few milimeters off the door, or take it off using a plane?

I know I'm thick but any help would be appreciated.

I've said plane in the other post, so can I say saw in this one?
