Are the staging codes the same in every coucil or do they each have thier own ways of monitoring an application.

I'm currently at stage 15 which I guess is awaiting a decision. However one of my work friends is now at stage 55 which means he has already been approved (with conditions as always), and will be getting his confirmation shortly.

Does anyone have a definiative list of the stages of the planning application?. I've serached the web but can not find anything of relevance.

Thanks

Never heard of these. They seem like an in-house system of your local council

I concur with Woody - never heard of these numbered stages before so guess it must be something your local council choose to use to help them monitor application progress?

Just checked another coucil web site (i.e. not mine) and they don't use that system.

I would have thought they would have some sort of standards between them, I guess not.

Thanks for your repsonses anyway.

As far as I can see I've only ever seen stage 15 and stage 50.

Stage 15 is "deciding".
Stage 50 is "decided"
oh and stage 55 is "let the client know"
lol.
