I am wondering if anyone has any good ideas about how I could replace the plasterboard and fill or plaster around the pipes in a near way that doesn't look awful. Please see the attached photos.

I can neatly cut pieces to fit the holes and use a cut pieces of wood in the ceiling void to screw them too. I could also cut two slots in these pieces for the pipes, this would leave holes behind the pipes that are awkward and difficult to fill.

Does anyone have any better ideas?

Cut a pattern like you would for a pipe through floor board.

Should then come together nicely, or you can use caps.
