Can you tell me what that looked like? The front panel was removed and bricks taken out by my son. It’s all sitting in driveway. I don’t want to now take it to council recycling if it does have asbestos in it. I also don’t want to pay a small fortune for it to be taken away if it doesn’t actually have any asbestos in it.Certainly the storage heaters I used to decommission had asbestos matting in them.
But I guess it depends on age.
This one doesn’t have matting as such it was bricks with curly wire laced through bricks with a layer at front and back of white sheet of something with paper over it The ones I disassembled had asbestos matting in.
