Iv,e bought 2 x 3kw plinth heaters for the kitchen, initially I was going to feed these by way of plugging them into socket outlets which allready exist just in the right places behind the kitchen units, (both sockets are on the same ring), However considering the potential draw if both were on together at max setting, would i be better off feeding these on a dedicated circuit, or am I being over cautious, the existing ring, feeds all the usual kitchen appliances.

yes, they really should be on their own circuit. think about it, an immersion heater draws 3kw, and it has its own circuit (usually). Here you have 6Kw of heat. Thats about 26Amps, your ring main is rated at 32Amps. Switch a kettle on to make a brew while your feet are toasty warm will trip the breaker. How big is your kitchen? Thats a lot of heat for the average kitchen. Will these heaters be on thermostats?
