Socket formed joint on gas pipe is an 'inappropiate fitting'. Read the Regs chaps!!

You need to read bs6891-7.2 where it says joints using purpose made tooling that allow capillary soldering are acceptable on gas pipework.

Absolutely fine to use a pipe expander and covered under bs6891.

What do you use for your tee extractor joints mate? Brazing with Oxy/Act or silver solder?

Upto 42 I use my rothenberger set, which first you drill then insert the racket/former and it pulls the tee,dop your pipe in and solder,anything bigger than 42 then it's braze/bronze weld.

I've used the Rothy kit many times on teeing off large copper tube. But we always braze with Oxy/Act. Do you use standard solder on smaller tube sizes, does it not split after time & leak?

Use lead free upto 42,dont have any issues as the only real benefit of silver is temp related.

why, 2 15/60's are pump return to boilers, 25/60 is pump flow to heating system.

thats makes left hand of header return and right hand flow and piped and configured exactly as intended.
