What a load of cobblers. I've been recovering crashed panels for the last two decades in the way it tells you in the manual. If it were wrong:

A) I'd have found it didn't work.

B) The manufacturers would have found it didn't work.

Now I ask you again give me a TECHNICAL answer as to why you think mains power is different from battery power (other than it being spikey).
